Introduction
Under the “Amar Chokh, Amar Alo” project, a specialized mobile eye care team is being deployed to ensure access to quality and modern eye care services for communities living in remote and hard-to-reach areas. Due to limitations in transportation, electricity, and healthcare infrastructure, many people in these regions remain deprived of regular medical services. This initiative aims to bring essential eye care directly to their doorsteps.
Through this outreach, services include general eye examinations, distribution of spectacles as required, identification of cataracts and other complex eye conditions, and appropriate referral support for advanced treatment.
The mobile eye care campaign conducted in Char Kolatoli received a strong response from the local community, enabling many individuals to access much-needed eye care services. Restoring vision and bringing renewed hope to people’s lives remains the core commitment of this initiative.
